Story Is King
In my experience, the story of an art piece is the most important part of said piece. You can have the most beautiful-looking shots. Top-tier audio design. The perfect amount of style. But if the story is subpar at best, that art you’ve worked on has no meaning. I intend to make the best narrative experience possible regardless of what I work on. That starts here.
The Haunting One
it’s okay… (2022), the first script I wrote as a college student. It is a horror/romance script that deals with themes of death, acceptance, and the courage to move on. The film was produced but not released to the public.
The Morality One
Rupture (2022). The story follows a man gifted with the ability to read and influence minds and how that man's morals change over time. The film explores themes of morality and what it means for the powerless to become powerful.
The Fantasy One
Papers & PowerPoints (2022). P&P is a film about a group of friends playing a Table Top RPG to escape a war happening in their real life. While they play the game, Prince Norm’s father, King Mercer, barges into the room, demanding to play. The film explores themes of overbearing parents and escapism.
The Time One
One More Minute (2019). OMM takes place in a high school, in which time has stopped suddenly. The story follows a student skipping class who is confused about why this event is occurring. He meets another student who is also free from the spell. The film explores themes of opening to others and “the heat of the moment.” Fun fact, this is the first script I wrote in my sophomore year of high school. Safe to say, I’ve come far.
